Windows Defender Security Center comes pre-installed with Windows 10 and Windows 11, and it's ready to use once you start your device. However, you can customize its settings to suit your needs. Here’s how to set up and optimize Windows Defender Security Center:

1. Open Windows Defender Security Center:

Click the Start menu and search for "Windows Security."

2. Check Security Status:

The main screen of Windows Security will show the current status of your device's protection. You can see if real-time protection is on, if the device is up to date, and if there are any immediate actions needed.
